Sarah Smalls, DSc

Sarah Smalls is currently an independent consultant specializing in financial and administrative technical support, providing strategic leadership, financial management and systems assessment support for nonprofit agencies. Her career of more than 30 years reflects a wealth of senior leadership experience in nonprofit organizations focusing on at-risk youth, faith-based social services, support for individuals with intellectual disabilities and addiction treatment. She has overseen operating budgets ranging from $2 million to $100 million, funded by private donations, foundation grants and government contracts. Sarah previously held the positions of Director, Finance & Administration and Director, Administrative Services at The Kingsley Organization. In addition to her work, Sarah taught organizational leadership courses to undergraduate and graduate students at Robert Morris University for more than six years. Sarah holds a Doctor of Science degree in Information Systems & Communication from Robert Morris University and a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Point Park University.
