Dadiri Lugundi
Teen L.E.A.D. Assistant
Dadiri (Abdi) Lugundi was born in the Kakuma Refugee Camp in Kenya and resettled in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with his family in 2004. Navigating the challenges of language and cultural adjustment, he attended Pittsburgh Public Schools, graduating from Barack Obama Academy.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in History with a minor in Communication Arts from Allegheny College, where he served as Student Government President and completed a senior thesis on the Somali Bantu community’s integration experiences in Pittsburgh.
Driven by a passion for empowering the next generation, Dadiri is deeply committed to supporting high school and college-aged youth in building leadership skills, pursuing education, and overcoming barriers to success through mentorship, community engagement, and personal growth.
