Resource Navigator
Marygrace, known by most as Grace, is a dedicated social work professional currently serving Pittsburgh families as a Resource Navigator with the East Liberty Family Center at the Kingsley Association. She brings a strong background in trauma-informed care, with over 3 years in Workforce Development as a Case Manager for various programs including OVR and WIOA to assist people of all ages and abilities with their goals. There, she led a partnership with UPMC that helped over 100 individuals secure career level employment, earning a national award from Mutual of America for Community Partnerships.
Grace earned her Bachelor of Social Work from Chatham University, where she obtained certificates in Forensic Social Work and Women’s Leadership. She is trained in Youth Mental Health First Aid and has been a Field Placement Supervisor to support undergraduate Social Work students earn their degree. Her commitment to social justice and community empowerment is reflected in her role as a Strengths Based Family Worker and certified foster family during the pandemic. She continues to advocate for equity in her work, focusing on uplifting individuals and families through resource connection and strength-based practices.
