Thomas Brown

Tom began his work life in 1987 in the NFL when he was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the seventh round. After four years in the NFL, Tom spent the next seven years in a variety of roles with Pepsi Cola and Dr. Pepper/7UP. He moved on to a General Manager role with Celestial Seasoning Herbal Tea Company with their natural Products Division. Tom's business integrity, health, wellness, and environmental stewardship aligned with his personal sensibilities. His influence helped Celestial become one of the first LOHAS certified companies.
After participating in a successful sale of Celestial, Tom became board member, President & CEO at Mineral Fusion Natural Brands. The company became the top natural cosmetics brand in the industry and sold in 2018. Mineral Fusion forged a national relationship with the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence. The partnership provided monetary support along with providing cosmetics and skin products to shelters in support of helping women at risk create a better life.
Tom served as a board member and interim CEO for Sensible Organics in 2019. He rehabilitated the company operations to find a suitable business partner. Currently, Tom is CEO of the Bill Fralic Insurance
Services and a trustee for the William P. Fralic Foundation. He also serves as Chairman of the Board at Seaweed bath Company. In his spare time, he has mentored business management students from Robert Morris University in developing their vision and practical application towards entrepreneurial based business plans.
Tom is a 1987 graduate from the University of Pittsburgh majoring in History and Political Science. He currently lives in the North Hills with his wife of 30 years.
